When Kyoko moves to a new school she meets lots of new people and many that soon she considers friends. However, one stands out to her (Makoto Naegi) but she doesn't know how to tell him how she feels. Besides another girl is all over him and she doesn't feel able to express her feeling correctly. Her previous 'partner', who was horrible, stays in her mind and makes it even harder for her to feel she can trust someone again. Her past even come back to haunt her when she tries to express her feelings for Makoto...

Well this story is told by Makoto Naegi and Kyoko Kirigiri as they go through what happened to them after they left despair high school.
