yo i decided to start work on another book while im having a writers block for static. i will still focus mostly on static btw. updates not scheduled.
A new species has taken over Earth, forcing humans underground. They have learned to survive but must go above ground to scavenge in teams. Ross Drowne is on one of these scavenger teams, but when he gets stuck above ground, the way back might be more difficult than he thought.

This just keeps getting worse. How am I supposed to dodge past two of them? "What do you want now?" the new soldier grumbles. This one must be Alex. "Look at this cute little human I found. She's feisty. I think she's perfect for you." I glare at them. "I don't want a pet human. That's your disgusting fetish, and I'll have no part in it." "Oh come on Captain," the first soldier whines, "You don't have to fuck her, just train her to be obedient. Surely you can control one measly wild human? You are a captain after all. When you're done, you can just get rid of her, like I do with my humans." What the fuck? For a brief moment my fear is replaced by anger. Who do they think they are, talking about me like I'm some kind of wild animal? "Get the fuck away from me! You freaks!" I screech. The first soldier just flashes an evil grin. They don't budge. The Facility is under lockdown and all research staff were dead. A team of Special Forces begins to explore the facility and to follow Protocol A-V. But something goes awry. A phone call from his friends dad who is stationed on a military base turns weird when he demands for them to get down into a unfinished bunker for safety. After spending days inside, they emerge from the bunker and quickly find out that the world is a different place. It is evident that a war has started but, they can not listen to what so-called leaders of the world have told them. they find out they have to survive on their own, where it seems like it's every man for themselves.
