Kayla Audrey Wright is not the typical popular girl. She’s popular but the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet, she’s always willing to help. She’s always putting other people’s needs before hers. Everyone thinks she has the most perfect life. She’s popular, she’s beautiful and everyone loves her so how could she possibly hate her life? No one knows that the only family she has is her brother. No one sees that she’s hurting. No one notices how she’s short of money and has to work at a bar to pay her rent, no one beside her best friend. With only her brother and her best friend, how will Kayla survive this, especially with a certain someone always showing up at the right time? Kian Matt Brooks has the typical ‘I don’t care’ attitude. He’s the schools loner. No one has ever seen him actually talking to someone else. No one cares enough to see why he is the way he is. No one actually tries to talk to him but Kayla. After Kian saves Kayla more than once, Kayla won’t leave him alone. She continues to pester him and try to get him to talk but what happens when he just doesn’t want to? What happens when Kayla ends up staying in Kian’s house and feelings start to develop? I guess you have to read to find out!
