How far would you go to find out what happened in your dads past? Aurelia Grey lives with her mom, abusive dad, and siblings, Jax and Azraa. Her brother and sister are about to be put in a foster home. Her mom is scared to death of her own husband. Aurelia herself is terrified of him. So what will happen when he finds out her biggest secret?

While he is gone, Aurelia sneaks into his bedroom. Reading a journal from his past she finds out why he is abusive and hates the world. Now the two weeks are past and he still isnt home. Will this be a time for rejoicing, or mourning, for Aurelia and her family.

This book has some graphic scenes in it. It does talk about puberty some. Just a warning for some of you.
