Everyone wants to have a dragon egg, right? Some would sell it, some would keep it, some would even eat it. Such desire for dragon eggs attracts a certain thief to a dragon lair, deep in the mountains. At the same time, the eggs are just about to hatch and their parents are keeping a very good look on them.
To make matters even crazier, a dragon hunter is approaching the dragons' den, ready for a good hunt. Meeting of all those characters results in an adventure none of them would even dream about.
The story is told from three perspectives. The thief's, the hunter's and the hatchlings'. Each perspective can be read separately.

Before we get to the description of this book let me assure you all that I don't own the rights to the names of the few dragon type skylanders that may appear in this story. Also, the names of dragons that will appear not including Spyro, Cynder, Flashwing, and Malefor, will all belong to me. Also, any dragon type OC names and personality traits will be much appreciated. This story takes place in the Dragon Realm, one of many realms throughout the known universe, and two dragon eggs are about to hatch. These two dragon eggs are Spyro and Cynder both of which grew up in two different parts of the Dragon Realm. Spyro grew up in the Dragon Temple training to become the next Dragon Guardian. While Cynder grew up in the Dark Temple deep within the Shattered Mountains of Arc-kana where the Dark Dragon Lord Galventer was training her to be evil. However, Cynder doesn't want to be evil, Galventer took notice of this and cast an evil forbidden spell on her and turned her into Dark Cynder. When Dark Cynder was sent on an assassination mission to eliminate the next Dragon Guardian, Spyro, she faced Spyro in a fight but Spyro could tell that Dark Cynder's real self was still inside her. What will happen? Will Spyro save Cynder? Or will the Darkness take over the entire Dragon Realm? Read to find out.
