Santa Lucia is vibrant Californian town on it's way to earning a city status. One thing, however, always stands out, and that is the infamous Midnight Jasmine Hotel. Magdalena May is one of the luckiest girls of the town to live there but she and her family have a secret - they're sorcerers. 

A sudden and surprising murder of a close friend happens in the hotel and with rumours of paranormal activity, she is left confused and decides to investigate it herself befoore things get out of hand and her secret gets out. When things get deeper than she thought, she is left with no choice but to use her powers and make some unlikely alliances along the way.
