Nora's night turns from bad to horrifying when she's caught up in a brawl between a demon and a mysterious yellow-eyed man named Quinn. With the help of her sort-of-friend Martha (the witch living in 4b), they set off on a quest for answers but find themselves trapped in a realm steeped in mystical beauty and arcane power called the Velarie... The world between worlds.
As Martha becomes enamored with the magical allure of the Velarie, Nora struggles to navigate the power, pageantry, and politics of this new world. Confused and alone, she begins to grow closer to the man that got her into this mess in the first place... The smart-mouthed warlock, Quinn.
But as whispers of rebellion in the Northlands and a traitor amongst the High Council begin to surface, not even he can prepare her for what's to come.
Caught in the middle once more, Nora must learn to trust herself and others if she is to embrace her destiny and help save Velarie and its magic.

This is the first draft of A Realm of Sun and Shadow. I'm doing simple edits along the way as I post chapters, but as a whole, this is a rough draft of a story I'm currently working on. :)

I'M GOING TO START EDITING THIS PROBABLY. If you go to Our Lady of the Black Veil Academy, chances are you know the names Cass Landry, Rebecca Lovelace, and Mallory Meksawan. Cass Landry being the mysterious new girl with a tendency to practice magic illegally, Rebecca being notorious for lighting up every room she walks into, and Mallory being the second in command it-girl of Black Veil, as famed as she is feared.
