I turned and ran towards the forest. I phased halfway there but kept running. As the others phased I could hear them yelling in my head but I blocked them out and kept running. If a wolf could cry I would've but the only sounds that came out were strangled Yips and whimpers. I was alone, I had been alone before, I thought I had felt pain before but it was nothing like this. This hurt. It felt like my heart was ripped from my chest. But I had been alone before, I could do it again. I hurting more than I was helping, I had to leave.
