hello guys how r u I'm here to write a Chinese folktale that is Retold by Anna Luan Li Ning from China and some things i have written is by my book where it was written :) ... so it will be short in this story a poor man Ma liang who was given a magic paint brush whenever he drew something the object or thing came to life it became real..... ok plz read my story and vote it if possible plz comment :)

Book of Later Shu
The Kingdom of Shu seeks to reunify China after the collapse of the Ming Dynasty in the 1400s. This is a 45-page short story that seeks to be a short, yet epic tale of a nearly two-century long period of upheaval and civil war. This is a story of political intrigue, heroic deeds, epic conquests, and betrayal. This is my 45-page long historical fiction I wrote based off of a Europa Universalis campaign in which I, playing as the country Shu (which I call Later Shu in the title to distinguish it from the real-life kingdoms of Shu [~300 BC] and Shu-Han [221-263 AD]), sought to reunify China after the collapse of the Ming Dynasty. The style I wrote this in is inspired by Chinese texts -- novels like Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and historical texts such as the Book of Jin, Spring and Autumn Annals, etc. As such, there is a mix of hard "historical" facts/numbers, moved along by light narrative and prose. In short, this is pretty much a story in the style of "embellished historical document." I spent a lot of time researching Ming Dynasty era China to make the finer details in this book as plausible as possible. However, this was written and edited over the period of 3-4 years during my free time as a full-time college student that has a ton of other papers and books to read and write, so I couldn't get as detailed and fleshed out as I would have liked. It's also my first time seriously writing a "significant" piece of fiction (and a nearly 50-page document in general), so I don't want to make it sound like I'm claiming to be the next Luo Guanzhong or anything. Hello- I believe you intend to read this story, cool- small warning uh this is my first book on here and I suck at spelling so go easy on me This book is inspired off of a Countryhuman rp I did while in quarantine and I just went "I could totally make this a story" so Yee It's set in medieval era but it's not totally accurate because fantasy n shit so- So basically they all have familiars which are animals that are spiritually connected to you, so if you get hurt the animal feels the pain, if either of you die the other dies aswell so yea Just a headcannon real quick cause I feel the need to explain this- when a country is wounded by someone they care about, flowers grow on the wound so yea- The only non country character that belongs to me is the griffin, I'll credit the people who own the others at the end Ok since I can't think of anything else to put here ima just say who has what familiars- America-Owl (Mars) New Zealand-Kiwi (coconut) Canada- moose (Bumper) Australia- griffin (Dez) Stfu I wanted a griffin fight me- Dylan- Unknown- Blanc- butterflies (it's like a whole swarm they don't have a name) Also warning uh- cause idk- this book mAy or may not have content that's offensive towards some audiences but like- read at your own risk I suppose So YeaComplete

This is my first story, and I need to learn how this works... so go easy on me. And I don't own any of the art or cover art used in the story. Credit goes to the artist.
