"why are you so persistent for - this?" she mumbled incoherently to his chest, spilling out soft-spoken profanities under her breath as he merely laughs. looking at her through hooded eyes, his fingers recoiled strands of her hair as he relished the thick silence unbeknownst to the pair.

he clicks his tongue. "am i not allowed to be?"

she pauses, tempting herself closer to this foreign feeling.

"no, you can be persistent if you want."
