The Rogue Luna
My memories always haunt me. And they never cease. They come back when I hear a simple howl at night. I wish they would just disapear, like how I made all my fear. But I know it's impossible. Fear is always easier to get rid of, of course, when you have nothing else to live for. I remember the night. The night my family was brutally murdered. The night I became a rogue. Two Faces, One Wolf....
Life was so simple. So much more carefree and just generally free to do as you please and not have to worry about every little thing. Key word being 'was'. The second you receive your wolf you know your in trouble. It's when the rolling hills and valleys turn into mountains and canyons taunting you to enter. But you can help it cause to get to the other side and pass the finish line you gotta climb those mountains and fall deep into the canyons. But of course teenagers even like obstacles especially when they are still tying to fun themselves. Some may be more outspoken then others and some may be the the tiniest bit too mature but they have to learn one way or another. But what happens when a pack of wolves flirting at first start being the bigger picture and that being this free wasn't going to last forever. Feelings come and go just like people but the day you turn of age that also changes. Mates is a hard word to swallow and acceptance becomes a challenge but not as challenging as sticking together as things are thrown their way, distractions are made and a few too many lies but too deep. THIS BOOK IS COMPLETED but it will be HEAVILY EDITED and have things added to it in the future. I wrote this book when I was much younger. I didn't expect it to reach this amount of popularity so I will devote my time to bettering it in the future. ------------------ Every year, in our village and the neighbouring villages, we encounter, on what is suppose to be the most divine and celebrated day of the year, a visit from the 'big bad wolf'. At least that's what the children call him. Adults like to call him "inhuman" or a "wild ravenous monster". However, the majority settle for "beast". No one knows why he ruins this specific day for us, the day we can celebrate our species: werewolves. Some despise him for taking this day from us and forcefully exchanging our merry and joyful laughs to screams of fear. When that specific day of the year approaches us, none of us are ever prepared for it. He always comes at night. We are told to lock our windows, draw our curtains and our doors. We are told to hide. There's one main rule that we have: don't look at him. Because if you do, no one knows what'll happen to you. Maybe that's the worse part, not knowing your fate. Not knowing the outcome of your foolish actions. If he comes roaming your streets, you have a right to be scared. Us "maidens" are always encouraged to hide ourselves the most, it's women that he supposedly wants more. However, I believe that that is a cautionary excuse. He'll take you, no matter how old or how young, no matter how innocent or how corrupt, no matter your gender, all it takes is a look. Either he looks at you, or you look at him, or you both exchange looks. Either way, his senses will pick you up, and you can't hide. It'll be too late. The amazing cover is by @-blackrogue. The wolf collided with me full force and my body slammed into the ground with a sickeningly loud crack. I felt all my bones snapping and rattling together as I hit the ground. The wolf caged me underneath himself his big sharp teeth snarling inches from my face. I blinked a couple time as I stared into those glowing blue eyes and I felt my heart beating in ears.
