The world of the Fairy Grasses is dying. Once filled with an ancient race of all-powerful beings, a gender war has dwindled their numbers to almost nothing. Infiltrating the local human community, one fairy feels compelled to assimilate, fall in love, and care for the small family she has left. This is Heulwen's story.
She meets Cole, a local from the human world who is every bit the Southern gentleman during the day, but carries a dark secret when the moon rises. To make matters worse, her long lost changeling mother returns and sets in motion the release of an evil fairy queen bent on bringing the fairies back from the brink of extinction by any means necessary.
