Noah hasn't exactly had the best six months. After a trip to Walmart gone horribly wrong, he's left reeling with the consequences of that night, and the thought that someone, something, is after him, even though he has practically no evidence to believe it, except for the scar on his chest.
Tanner also has reason to be paranoid. He knows for a fact that someone is after his family, after the murder of his mother and the poisoning of his father. He's in a race against time to figure out who's behind the attacks, why, and how to stop them. He soon realizes that Noah may be his only hope, whether Noah himself realizes it or not.
There's one thing they can agree on. They're running out of time, and will do anything it takes to find the truth, even if morally convoluted.

When Jake kills the stalker, he ends up killing himself too, and now Emily can only see him in her dreams. The scent of the short teen used to have was gone, replaced with the putrid smell of death and rot that covered the whole room and the killer himself. Blood smudged all over the teen and onto the older man as he attempted to escape. He got hungry and tired. He just wanted to eat and then sleep. He was preparing the girl, cutting her body apart and tearing the flesh off the bones, which is why the room was such a mess with her blood. Now, he had the boy in his hands. The hunger overtook him. The sharp pain of large "canine" teeth being plunged into his neck made Cameron scream. It was cut short, his whole body freezing up as the crazy man sunk his large fangs into his neck, ripping a large chunk of the boy's flesh in between his teeth. The pain only got worse when he felt the killer tug harshly, pulling his flesh out... ----- A gang of delinquents becomes lost in a forest, pursued by a frightening masked figure.
