Y/N is the sister of John Laurens, she lives with her brother and father in a small house in New York City helping her father as their mother passed away when Y/N was only four and John twelve. John had to grow up quicker to take care of Y/N as their father was very depressed but tried to hide it behind his paper work. John watched his young sister blossom into the young lady she was when he left for the Revolution. She was only ten when he left meaning she had to grow up quicker to look after their father while John was gone.
