And that's all Nathan, a marine biologist, knew about this underwater creatures, they were myths, tales, stories for children. But an encounter with one would make him realise behind every story, there's a truth to it.

"Hello, Nathan."

I heard my name millions of times before. But this was totally different, her voice was soft, foreign, sultry even. Only two words and I was already intoxicated by her voice.

I stared at her, taking in her new form. Her skin now had a glowish tan. Her sharp teeth gone, replaced by two rows of pearly whites. Her shark-like tail had transformed into a pair of long, naked legs. I stopped myself from ogling at her longer and instead found myself looking into her eyes, those same pair of luminous blue eyes.
