Natsu Dragneel is the dreaded pirate known to be on the hunt for the mysterious gem known as the Dragon's Eye. He is rarely seen and has never once been captured.

Lucy Heartfillia is the captain of the Royal Navy. Her specialty is capturing pirates and she is widely known in the kingdom of Fiore for her ruthless reputation.

Lucy hears of the Dreaded Pirate Dragneel and immediately sets off to do what no one else has: have him killed. But when she is so close to capturing the pirate that is so feared, she is taken aboard the ship. She finds out many things about the life of a pirate, and finally realizes not everyone is as bad as they seem. But there is one thing she can't seem to uncover.
