Oh shit. No. No, no no. This can NOT be happening. I close my eyes. This is just a dream, a nightmare. When I open them again, the only thing I'll see is my bedroom window and the dark that seems to be endless. Here goes.... I open one eye. NO. I can clearly see the human body lying in front of me. lifeless. No, not again! I- I have to get out of here. But I can't- I can't just leave her here! I have to hide her somewhere. Bury her, I mean. I look around. The ground I'm standing on is grassy, but.. squishy. Not quite like a swamp, though. On my right, I see the ground level going up, seemingly into the clouds. I know this is only the Olympus, though, my home. On my left, the grass gets wetter and some trees start to form. There is a thick layer of fog, however, so I'm not able to see any further than a few meters ahead. Obviously, I decide to go to the forest-swamp-place. Hiding the dead body of a maid of the Olympus, on the Olympus, doesn't seem like the most brilliant plan. So there I go, dragging this heavy human being behind me. As a farmer's daughter, I have no trouble at all carrying heavy stuff, so that makes things a whole lot easier. Besides, the woman doesn't leave a blood trail, either. Oh god, what am I thinking? I'm not turning into a murderer, am I? As I approach the forest, the fog seems to clear up. After a few minutes walking through the forest, I notice the perfect spot. Big enough for a body, small enough to be hidden.

"I asked him for it. For the blood, the rust, for the sin. I didn't want the pearls other girls talked about, or the fine marble of palaces, or even the roses in the mouth of servants. I wanted pomegranates-- I wanted darkness I want him. So I grabbed my king and ran away to the land of death, where I reigned, and people whispered that I'd been dragged. I'll tell you I've changed. I'll tell you, the red on my lips isn't wine. I hope you've heard of horns, but that isn't half of it. Out of an entire kingdom, he kneels only to me, calls me Queen, calls me Mercy. Mama, Mama, I hope you get this. Know the bed is warm and our hearts are cold, know never have I been better than when I am here. Do not send flowers, we'll throw in the river. 'Flowers are for the dead' --'least that's what the mortals say. I'll come back when he bores me, but Mama, not today." --Daniella Michallen, "Persephone Speaks." The kidnapping of Persephone retold in which Hades didn't kidnap Persephone, but she fell into the Underworld and became Hades' queen.
