Heartless, otherwise known as Jason, does what every other Catcher has to in order to stay as alive as he can get. Except one day, he breaks the rules and is sent to confinement for risking the exposure of the soul catching secret. With the help of Jennie-Lou he manages to escape confinement but he then has to become an alliance of her rebel group in order to live, the groups that every catcher is warned against in training.
