There is a darkness inside Cara. A dark corner in the labyrinth of her life that seems to hold on no matter how many times she let's go. A darkness that in her own moment of weakness seems to be spreading from it's hiding place and threatening her everyday life. Retreating to the refuge of her Great Aunts' small forest cottage for the summer, Cara tries to get a handle on the current mess that is her life. 
After the drowned body of one of her coworkers,  is found, he begins to plague her dreams with warnings about a monster that lies dormant in the forest.  Soon after Cara starts to hear a voice calling out to her from the trees . Is it real? Or is Cara slowly loosing her mind?
