What just happened?...
One second, her figure stood there, watching the brilliant night sky. A night made so breathtaking from the bluish meteorites falling. Then, in a split second, she vanished becoming a shooting star instead from the rapid fall she's experiencing.
How did it come to that?
Exactly this time, a guy sitting, looking so intimidating and bored out of his mind, saw this. He had a weird feeling, adding this up to an image he saw in his mind, he got more suspicious with the shooting star which immediately disappeared from his line of sight in a second.
A shooting star with a weird shape....

She gulped, feeling his hot stare raking on her features. "W-what?"
Instead of answering, he kept his gaze on her eyes. It was very silent. And it's awkward.
Averting her eyes, she tightened her hold on her phone, which stole the attention of the beautiful colored orbs. "Beautiful..."
Her eyes bulged, then came back his eyes on her. "E-excuse me? You said beautiful... M-me...?-"
She doesn't know if she only imagined it, but she noticed a slight movement of his lips.
"...-work and its such a wonder, how they invented the thing you're holding." And he turned away, leaving her mouth, hanging open, later on, her cheeks, beet red.

"What of this thief I hear that has hidden themselves in The Lands of Luxury?" I say. Rail lowered his emerald eyes towards the horizon. "Have you thought of my proposal?" Rail asks, avoiding my question. He had asked me many times to become his protector and leave the True One. Of course, I always say no. It pained me to see the hurt in his once peaceful eyes. "You know my answer." I whisper. I lay my hand on top of his. There was always a spark that clouded my mind when I touched Rail. I pull away, dropping my eyes. "This was a wonderful gathering, Rail. Thank you, but I must return to the True One." I begin to light the room with my silverlight overpowering Rail's golden blaze, getting ready to flash. "Wait! Stay to find the thief. Please, Aderes." I'm hovering over the floor. Rail grabs my hand, and the shock brings me back to him. I lower myself and let go of him. "I will stay until the thief is found. Then I must return to the True One's heaven." I try to smile at Rail to calm him. It works. His green eyes linger on me as I walk away from the balcony and return to the gathering. *** After meeting Jay, Sarah's father is killed, which causes her to accidentally tap into unknown powers. Sarah begins to learn the truth about who Aderes is and how Sarah herself is connected to her. But most importantly, she learns who's been lying to her since the beginning.Kumpleto
Someday - A Short Story
Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. "Do you remember calling me 'mate?'" he asked softly, pushing her wild curls away from her face. She blushed deeply, but he wouldn't let her look away. "You heard that?" He nodded with a smile. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes.
