12-year-old Thomas Smith has fallen on hard times with his family especially his dad who may just be the grumpiest man on earth. Even though his mum has said that he was a busy man Tom can't help but wish that he was closer with him. Tom also suspects his parents might split up and he will stop at nothing until everything is how it used to be. But will that be enough?
