Z for Zachariah Fanfic (Short Story Ending)

This story is based off the book Z for Zachariah. The author died while writing the book, so his family picked up and wrote the ending of the book. Although the ending is good, it leaves a lot of things untouched that I believe the author might have added to the story, so I decided to write a short ending. I am personally a huge fan of the book, so I put a lot of time into writing this ending. The story is an apocalypse scenario where the character is writing diary entries(Which is why it is dated) and she usually starts with something that happens and then explains how it happened(so you don't get confused) Ann is living in this Valley by herself and Mr. Loomis walks into the Valley and he is sick because he drinks the water and it still has the nuclear toxin in it. Ann then helps him get better, but he turns out to be kind of a psychopathic killer. Needless to say she steals his safe suit(which protects her from the toxins in the dead land) and leaves the Valley to find something, anything else.
