Virgil, though only 3, deals with extreme anxiety, he's a slow learner so he doesn't talk very much and rarely, if not ever, leaves Dean's side and has developed trust issues and PTSD due to the incident that caused them to move in the first place. Unfortunately due to the new circumstances, Dean now has to work so that they can afford to live and is unable to afford for Virgil to go to daycare. Since Patton is a stay at home dad and was very friendly the first time meeting, Dean puts Virgil in his care also hoping that it will help Virgil with his social skills and being around other kids his age. Patton has the power to bring plants and animals to life, to grow stuff. All of their powers made sense to their trait. Roman can create ideas so it makes sense for him to create holograms. Logan is very centered and smart so something to do with the mind makes sense. And Patton being the fatherly trait it's perfectly understandable for him to grow and raise life. But Virgil, his power doesn't make sense. Why would a paranoid, nervous, fearful, anxious trait have wings?
