The lights of her lounge began to blur in her vision as the adrenaline kicked in. She stood from behind her counter, walking out from it far too confidently for any Turian under such dire circumstances. Biotics trickled through her veins and the air around her became chilled. She approached the people who had broken through her storefront, threatened her customers, and most of all, threatened her cousin. The human and Krogan pair looked sufficiently frightened of her, wisps of her biotics curling around her fingertips. She exhaled a cloud of visible vapor, and narrowed her eyes. C-Sec, The Council, The Hierarchy, all be damned for the sake of her cousin.

Earth has Fallen, it's as simple as it states. Ten years prior, They came. The Tephra, came to Earth intending to take over the life baring Planet. A humanoid species more advanced in weaponry, skills and knowledge than the Human race; looked to make it their home. Countries leaders refused to allow such a thing to happen and war soon ensued. Countless lives wasted to the attack when peace and coexistence could have been an option. Human's, losing, resorted to no other option then chemical warfare. Lieth was born in Scottland and migrated to America as a child when she was ten years old, Ten years before the invasion. She was now 30yrs old. The chemical used in the war completely altered her genetic makeup. She stopped growing upon becoming infected and the effects were permanent. The chemical also caused her hair roots to stain a deep green hue giving her a more inhuman hair color. Her eyes defined her the most. They were a brilliant shade of Ember, like flames in a fire. Kaija was Heir to his Father's Reine. The Tephra were a very tall, fit, Agile and fast, clearly built for hunting. They also stopped aging once they hit adult-hood. Dying only due to sickness, accidents or being slain. Kai's hope was to hopefully unite both races, by force if needed. Kai had long white hair that went past his hips. His skin was a tannish cream tone, a scar over his left eye. He had an agile black tail that was adorned in gold armor. Long pointed elf-like ears. He wore black armor with gold trimming that was protective against attacks of any kind, but was very light making it easy for him to move around. Armored boots adorned with climbing spikes and gloves that exposed his razor-sharp claws. The most distinctive feature of all was the golden skill mask he wore that shown is crystalline blue hues. Thane Krios is the best elite assassin in the galaxy. And he has less than a year to live. He decides to perform one last altruistic act by killing an asari mobster and just as he is about to embrace Kalahira's calling, Commander Shepard of the Alliance shows up with a suicide mission for which she needs him. Jane Shepard has returned from the dead. Her last memory is the Normandy SR-1 shattered in space by a Collector ship's beam. She has awakened on a Cerberus space station. Two years have passed since the attack and her former comrades, the Alliance and the Citadel Council do not take kindly to her supposed resurrection or her association with the Illusive Man's organization. Meanwhile, Collectors abduct human colonists in the Terminus Systems and no one seems to care. For Thane, death was his ten years of battle sleep driven only by his thirst for vengeance, while for Shepard, the two years unconscious while strangers did and undid with her body without her consent. Together they will find their way back to life and with their comrades venture into the bowels of the galaxy from where no ship has ever returned. Words sounded muffled, like her ears were full of water, yet she spoke as if she knew what people were saying. She just wanted to seem as if she were normal, but she knew better, she was terrible at hiding her emotions. She felt drained, depressed, lonely, but at the same time, she was angry. She wanted to stab something, kill it with her bare hands. She was angry at the council for protecting that murderer, angry at Saren for taking the love of her life from her, but more than anything, she was angry at herself. She was angry for not spending more time with Nihlus. She knew that if she told someone about how she was feeling, they'd likely tell her that it wasn't her fault and that she was blaming herself far too much, but now she had no one to talk to. She had barely any friends and her only family was John, and she didn't feel much too comfortable talking to him about such things. It was always Nihlus. He was always there for her. She felt so isolated from the world without him. ---------- Jane Shepard is a simple engineer on the Normandy, quiet and a bit soft spoken. While out on shore leave, she meets a turian Spectre who she fall deeply in love with, but when he dies, she's left sad and hollow. Her time spent depressed is short lived until another turian comes into a life, relighting a fire in her once more.Complete
