Compulsion [HOLD]

[Set in Romanian-type vampire (Vampire Academy) world] Liviah Swider, a dhampir, gets very upset at her father who turns himself half-strigoi and runs away from her (Private/Boarding) school St. Vincent Bay Academy, in Worchester, MA, (In an old abandoned state hospital, that was transformed into a vampire school – it is in an isolated area in the woods –) to search for him. Nikolai Kozlovsky, who later turns out to be her mentor/instructor/tutor finds her hiding out in Warwick, Rhode Island after her best friend, Claire Blackmore accidentally gives away her location, takes her back to the school. When she gets back she develops a crush on her best-guy-friend, Ethan White. When Liviah finds out he does not like her, she somehow uses compulsion to try to get Nikolai to hook up with her. Liviah finds out she is a half-dhampir/half-Moroi. Nikolai does not report her and the incident or what she is to anyone. Nikolai finds Liviah, Ethan and 3 college aged kids with her playing a drinking game. Liviah tests her luck with Nikolai, and decides to try to hook up with a royal, popular moroi boy, but nikolai does not let it happen. The college kids eventually find out she is ½ and ½ and take her hostage. How will she escape without anyone else finding out the truth about her and her father...and her secret love life.
