Since the age of 6, Azalea has been deaf. Her mother wanted her to go to a school for deaf people, but Azalea didn't want to be seen as "special". Her mother wouldn't stop asking to go to the school. Eventually, Azalea had enough. She rebelled against anything her mother told her. Including going online and talking to people. For a few days, Azalea has been talking to this guy. He wants to meet up with her. To rebel against her mother, of course, she agrees. Little did Azalea know that the guy she was going to meet up with, was a child predator. When he kidnapped her, he told her to never speak. However, he didn't tell her in sign language. He merely spoke. Not knowing what she was doing, she asked him where they were going. The guy mysteriously died, and the car crashed into the middle of the woods. There begins the story of her new life. One that wouldn't last much longer. Scientist's experiments had gone wrong. They call them the "Stone Devils". They were escaping from the labs and into our world. Made of stone and all male. Winged creatures that come into the night. Steal and kill their prey. That's what she heard but she didn't believe it until a few nights ago. (kinda like the movie Warm Bodies)

"Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. "Don't run from me Blaze it won't go well," he growls reading my thoughts causing me to freeze in my spot. "Do not ever think you can get away from me."
