_This book takes place in the EL (Elven Lady by The_Changeling_Child) universe_ "The Fourth Age has come. He shall return." The dying words of Aragorn were true. He was to return. Melkor, The Corrupter was to return, nearly a thousand years after Aragorn's death. And Aragorn's half-elven son, Eldarion (who was blessed by the Valar with even longer life), was left with the responsibility of protecting Gondor and defeating him alone. His mother, Arwen, died a year after Aragorn, leaving no one to protect him but his older sister. Most of the Fellowship had either passed away, or sailed to The Undying Lands. The only powerful people left were Legolas, Lestil and Gimli. No-one else. Only able to see the King and Queen of Mirkwood a few times a year and Gimli burying himself in his mountain, he had no-one else. And Morgoth's threat was drawing nearer. Even the Maiar, in wizard form, Gandalf and Radagast, had left. The Blue Wizards could not be found. Forced to face the threat after his sister's disappearance, he made up a small army, journeying north to find his beloved sister, Taya, in an effort that would lead to war. _Please note that characters from original accounts may appear_ All characters, to some extent, and plot belong to J.R.R. "Now I lay me down to sleep I pray the lords my soul to keep See me safely through the night And wake me with the morning light" ...and though that morning light is but a ghost on the Eastern horizon, it is one onto which we cling. In this dark age of begotten Ringwraiths, rogue orcs, and Sauron's rise, it is a hope that we will live to see another day. But as direction goes, it is not so much a morning light, nor an Eastern one, but that of infinitesimal flames roving across the lands yet funneling in the Northeast. These are the flames of Phoenicians, cause of Sauron's original downfall and back for our final battle. This is a story of a return to light within the very heart of Gondor's son. The tragic death to counter Durin's, only withheld by a tear of heavenly descent. And though his ways are ones of great fault, he is yet to be the most deserving of all humanity...a true light in the darkness. Let us then begin the tale of dwarves and men.
