_This book takes place in the EL (Elven Lady by The_Changeling_Child) universe_

"The Fourth Age has come. He shall return."

The dying words of Aragorn were true. He was to return. Melkor, The Corrupter was to return, nearly a thousand years after Aragorn's death. And Aragorn's half-elven son, Eldarion (who was blessed by the Valar with even longer life), was left with the responsibility of protecting Gondor and defeating him alone. His mother, Arwen, died a year after Aragorn, leaving no one to protect him but his older sister. Most of the Fellowship had either passed away, or sailed to The Undying Lands. The only powerful people left were Legolas, Lestil and Gimli. No-one else. Only able to see the King and Queen of Mirkwood a few times a year and Gimli burying himself in his mountain, he had no-one else. And Morgoth's threat was drawing nearer. Even the Maiar, in wizard form, Gandalf and Radagast, had left. The Blue Wizards could not be found.

Forced to face the threat after his sister's disappearance, he made up a small army, journeying north to find his beloved sister, Taya, in an effort that would lead to war.

Fourth Installment in the Fëanoriel Chronicles. It is Year 50 of the Fourth Age of Middle Earth. The Reunited Kingdom prospers, having mostly recovered from the Battle for Arnor fifteen years prior. Relations are being fostered between their neighbors, including the elves of Ithilien, the dwarves of Aglarond, and men of Rohan, Harad, and Dunland. Minas Tirith has become a hub of activity and growth. But all that is about to change. Rhûn, still at odds with the Reunited Kingdom, and a stronger nation than ever, has been taken over by a leader known in Gondor's past as the only truly evil queen. With a necromantic ritual, the Queen of Cats is brought back and she wants to return home. She wants her throne back. Prince Eldarion and his companions now face a threat truly beyond their comprehension.
