Alex Davis is bullied at school, beaten by his abusing father, abandoned by his mother early on, and near suicidal. This is the story of a teenage boy and his struggle to stay alive and sane. He has contemplated giving up several times, but all that changes when he meets a family from South Korea who take care of him when no one else will.

School thinks he's some bad boy with no secrets and a perfect life. Wrong. He has secret and he's not a bad boy, (maybe a bit rebellious at times) and he certainly doesn't have a perfect life.
