My piece for the New Writers Challenge Contest. 

Heartbreak: something most of us have experienced. But it's not the heartbreak that kills. It's the agonizing road towards it. 

Enter Ivan, a man who thought he'd finally found true love. But as he walked the glass walkway towards the beautiful dawn, the cracks started to show, and the abyss below cried out to him.

Poor Ivan. If only you tested the surface before you sprinted forwards.
