The disappearance of boys in the small suburb of North Denver, Colorado, had everyone on edge. Detectives worked night and day to find a break in the case, while parents fought to keep their children safe, fearing their son will be the next victim.
In the midst of it all, was Jodie Pike. The invisible girl, who went about her daily life with the fear of being perceived by others. It wasn't until she let in a boy named Finney Blake, did she finally have a friend. Through him, she met his sister Gwen and the three formed a perfect trio over the years.
Jodie had always known of the Arellano boy. She observed everything around her, and he was hard to miss. She never dreamed they'd become friends, let alone anything more. But before she knows it, she finds herself head over heels for Robin.
Everything had changed for the better for Jodie when Robin entered her life. But just as easy as things can go good; they can just as easily turn sour.
For Jodie, that meant finding herself in the hands of the infamous kidnapper; The Grabber.
