Kurt Hummel was eight when he lost his hearing, as well as his mother. He's gone through challenges and obstacles that most people don't really think about, and made some pretty good friends.
That all changes when his father enrolls him in the local hearing school, McKinley.

This is a drawn out story from my one shot How The Deaf Boy Fell in Love in my Klaine One Shots work. It is an alternate universe in which Kurt is deaf, and meets hearing Blaine at McKinley.
