Marissa was sitting in her back yard enjoying the nice weather. Sun bathing in her bikini on the edge of the yard, avoiding the shade cast down by the large oak tree. She had her headphones in, listening to music on her iPhone, when something caught her eye. A man was walking through the trees behind her house. She tried to recognize him, but he was not familiar. The man gave her a sickening grin before approaching her.

Marissa Holiday, age 15, goes missing from her own yard. Who took her? What could he want with her? Can she survive whatever he has planned? Will someone rescue her before it's too late?All Rights Reserved

"Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. "Don't run from me Blaze it won't go well," he growls reading my thoughts causing me to freeze in my spot. "Do not ever think you can get away from me."

Her wolf has to completely go dormant, because it's just causing her pain and she would died of she didn't. Alex thinks that she's dead, because he felt the connection between them break. He finds another girl to be his mate, and when Ashleigh is found, she is heartbroken. Not only was it her pack that made her suffer through all that because they sold her, but her mate had given up on her because her wolf had to go into dormancy. She falls into severe depression, and develops a form of PTSD, that was formed from the shock she had from her pack and mate's betrayal. She isn't happy anymore, and that brightness she had in her personality is gone, leaving a husk of her former self. Will her pack and mate right their terrible wrongs, and bring her back to her former glory, or will they carry on with how they are, and have her fall into a comatose like state? Shadow could easily take all her problems away, but Melody refuses to take the easy way out. That is, until she just couldn't take it anymore, she takes Shadow's offer and soon her life got better. Her bullies started disappearing, showing up dead in the woods. Their bodies badly mutilated, almost unrecognizable. Life at school started getting better, she finally had human friends and even a boyfriend. Her "father" was found dead at her house. The torture had finally ended. Unfortunately this story doesn't have a happy ending, after all karma always strikes back.
