THIS BOOK TAKES PLACE AFTER 'BLOG OF A TEENAGE SUPERHERO'. You don't have to read that book first to understand the events that unfold in this one, but this story will spoil all the major plot twists in BoaTS.

What makes a supervillain?

After escaping prison, ex-supervillain Masquerade is on the run from the city he used to love. But the past, in the form of a boy he hurt and a superhero who saved him, won't let him go. He thinks if he joins the organization that wants to destroy "mutated monsters" like himself and the supers he used to terrorize, then maybe he can be made human again. Flawed logic, sure, but Masquerade would do anything to escape the person he's become.

But when this organization takes their agenda a step too far,  resulting in a tragedy far too close, Masquerade has got to choose: to be the person he's learned to be, or to fight back.

Anyway, this is about two people. I can almost hear you rolling your eyes. Another cliché teen fiction with a bad boy and a good girl? Nope. This is about superheroes. I can still hear you rolling your eyes. Superheroes. Like in comic books? Like people with super speed and mutant powers? Yes. But this isn't about the fight they have. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. And if you can name all the references in this book, you truly are a gift to mankind. Fangirl out.

Especially one person in particular: Jaydon Hamilton. He's hot, smart, and popular. Everybody loves him and thinks he is a teenage form of God. So Hazel leaves, she lives with her mum to escape the nightmare she experienced everyday. Then she fixes herself. And she comes back, she shows all those people that gave her hell how much she's changed. But what happens when she becomes friends with three of the guys that were a big part of the plan to take her down. And what if one of them is Jaydon? Hazel is unsure, she knows she shouldn't trust these guys but they treat her as a real friend. Something she's never had before. But does she realise what she could be getting herself into? And what happens when the hate she used to feel towards Jaydon starts to turn into something else? Because you can't start to love someone you hate. Right?

Even tho she loves getting in trouble BIG trouble always seems to find it's way back into Hazel's life. But she pretends it's just reality now. Storm is what everyone outside of school knows her as,but at school she is just Hazel. Rocking her school as the badass of it and hanging with the other trouble makers gets yourself a name. Having that name can bring fortunes and darkness. That's exactly what Ace King is, just darkness. Ace grew up in Australia but once his Father's gang needed more territory his family headed to Stonewall Mississippi USA. With better area and everything settled for Ace to take over soon he headed back to school. Covered in tattoos, some piercings and 6'8" makes you intimidating to some. That's what Ace loved, marking people shake under his gaze. Girls fell to his feet while guys got mad they weren't him. His world shifts when one girl doesn't shake nor falls to his feet and she is now his Queen. Ace and Hazel will go threw a roller coaster of pain, love, loyalty, lust and trust. The world will be against them and their love may only be the good thing left.

All three of your big brothers are known as powerhouses, but you rarely see them since they're always saving the city. One day you realize that the only way to see all of your brothers is to become a villain. Turns out you're better at it than you thought, and family dinners suddenly become the most amusing time of day.
