The government is tired of all the conflict, so they decided to make a serum called Armistice to have peace everywhere and no conflict. What a lot of people don't know is that I was actually in the lab with him. I watched as he tested the machines to make sure there were no accidents or causalities. Everything seemed to be fine, until it wasn't. The machine malfunctioned and the gamma rays went out of control. Not only did my dad get hit but so did I. The effects weren't exactly the same obviously but they did the same job of giving the victims unnatural abilities. On my run I started to think more about the accident as tears streamed down my face and my feet started to feel like they were on fire since my body wanted to just give out and sulk. My mother chose to leave me, my father tried to leave me. What is it about me that repels people? I am republishing this for a friend who wanted to read a sample of my work. The plot is all over the place, but I know I'll revisit it in future. I initially wrote this in 2017 before I knew a lot of things I know now. There's a lot in here that is culturally insensitive. I have done my best to edit out what I could find at first glance, but if you see something glaringly offensive please make a comment about it so that I can correct my errors. The most egregious example that comes to mind is using the G-word for the Romani and relying on unflattering stereotypes. I plan to correct a lot of this in proceeding drafts. In the modern world, humans are the ones in control and live all over the planet. Living on all continents along with various animals ranging from various animals both on land air and water. With the planet consisting of humans, their imaginations range far and wide creating various things for them to enjoy. Of course, some of the imagination can lead to rather odd fantasies, which can gather a lot of folks. The technology has progressed rather far along with the lifestyle of humans.....until a disaster struck. A famous technology company had the intent of creating a teleportation device allowing them to travel to the other side of the plant in a matter of seconds. The initial test seemed to be going rather well with multiple people easily going through it but an unseen electric surge changed everything. The portal started to go out of control causing one of them to exploded while the other one started to suck in everything around it. As one of the individuals was sucked through the portal, his body was reverted to that of a newborn child with all of his memories intact. After exiting the portal and landing safely in a thick forest, he saw that he was in the dead of night. Scared and confusion filled him as he had no idea where he was but what came the next morning utterly shocked him. After falling asleep upon arriving, he woke up and found himself in an odd house that he didn't recognize. As he tried to figure out where he is, the door opened as who entered was a woman with long dark hair......and a set or rather long bunny ears. Not only this, there were two other small infants sleeping next to him with one of them clinging to him. What is this world? Who are these people and what are they? Are there any other humans out there besides him? The answer lies with the passage of time.
