This thing called life

Romi Frombard is the new girl at school. When Cedar talks to her, she finds that her face gets red and flushed. Her tongue gets tied and she doesn't know what to say. Also, her dad took off with Jenny, a new woman, and gambled away all of her money so that they lost their house. Romi is a writer, so she resorts to her internet fans for advice. Can they help her figure out her feelings?
On the other hand, Terra Robins is having her own struggles. When her parents die in a car crash, she is sent to live with her Aunt Jenny. Jenny is a rich snob with a terrible boyfriend (ehem, he's married?) and cannot cook for her life, but somehow the neighbor, Derek, somehow makes her smile. But, Derek has a girlfriend. Can she get Derek to like her?
