Acacia, otherwise known as 'The Inflictor', has always had it hard. Being a paranormal is not easy, especially when she's constantly being hunted by the government. Life is usually simple: run, hide, survive. But all that changes when she runs into a boy with strange orange eyes.

Alec messed up. He created something for good that turned evil and has now doomed his species. The amount of guilt on his shoulders is too much for one paranormal to carry. All he wants is to fix his mistake. After meeting a peculiar girl, he realizes that's not the only thing he wants.
