What can mad Mother Wyse's mysterious message mean? It puts Denzil, humble apprentice to medieval wizard Valvasor, in a bit of a panic. In such panic, in fact, that he mucks up a spell to reach Valvasor and ends up seven centuries into the future!
Landing in the MacAllisters' back garden, Denzil discovers that the future is a strange and wonderful place, with its telephones and motorbikes, videos and funny clothes! However, Spy Wednesday is still approaching fast - he hasn't yet found Valvasor and most importantly - how can he escape the dragon....?
