Avery Collins is a sixteen-year-old teenager that hangs out with the boys, has an unhealthy obsession with cupcakes and not to mention she's a soccer-crazed player. While most kids were learning how to talk, Avery was busy kicking a ball. When Avery meets Tyler after an unfortunate kick to the head, will they become friends? Tyler Miller is the stereotypical bad boy. He has girls worshipping the ground he walks on, a mysterious aurora and skips classes. Let's not forget his charming attitude and smooth lines that gets every girl to fall for him. Everyone sees him as the bad boy that does not fall for anyone, but can Avery change that and see him differently under the mask he wears? But when Avery has to move 218 miles from LA to California due to her parents' divorce, things change for her. Her high school experience is nothing like she thought it would be when she meets Tyler. Add in a sexist soccer player, a fake queen bee and unwanted drama and that is what Avery has waiting for her at her new school. When Tyler and Avery meet, will they hit it off or loathe each other?

Previously known as 'My Twin's Best Friend' 17 year old Riley Montgomery has put up with her twin brother's best friend, Tyler, the notorious bad boy and player, either constantly ignoring or bullying her since freshman year... He's infuriating and plagued with a dark past that she's completely oblivious to. He doesn't 'do' love, and instead of wearing his heart on his sleeve he wears his beloved denim jacket. She's broken. Shy and lonely with no one but her flamboyant best friend and golden boy twin to keep her company, she goes about life with her head down. Other than a futile attraction and some lingering stares, the two couldn't despise one another more. But will everything change by some stupid kiss?
