Avery Collins is a sixteen-year-old teenager that hangs out with the boys, has an unhealthy obsession with cupcakes and not to mention she's a soccer-crazed player. While most kids were learning how to talk, Avery was busy kicking a ball. When Avery meets Tyler after an unfortunate kick to the head, will they become friends?

Tyler Miller is the stereotypical bad boy. He has girls worshipping the ground he walks on, a mysterious aurora and skips classes. Let's not forget his charming attitude and smooth lines that gets every girl to fall for him. Everyone sees him as the bad boy that does not fall for anyone, but can Avery change that and see him differently under the mask he wears?

But when Avery has to move 218 miles from LA to California due to her parents' divorce, things change for her. Her high school experience is nothing like she thought it would be when she meets Tyler. Add in a sexist soccer player, a fake queen bee and unwanted drama and that is what Avery has waiting for her at her new school.

When Tyler and Avery meet, will they hit it off or loathe each other?

Summer Jones doesn't have a perfect life - a crazy half family, dropping grades and absolutely no idea on what she's doing in life. This tomboy has no care in the world about anything except her sleep, food and loved ones. In that order (or not). But someone's about to crash that scale of preference and make her mind even crazier. Caleb Anderson seemed to have a perfect life. He had the looks, the crazy psycho girls running behind him and amazing soccer skills. What more could he need, right? Wrong. All he needed was a wild Summer Jones to spice his life up and all she needed was an arrogant Caleb Anderson to show her how to live fully in life. Would these two completely independent people, go past their hatred for each other and depend on that one chance brought to them? *** "I just got started. Wait and watch how I ruin your entire existence." He narrows his eyes at me, challenging me to come at him. "Are you sure you didn't just walk into the wall when you were young? You seem to have had your head hit pretty bad considering the consequential brain cells loss." I say while crossing my arms over my chest to get my point across. "Take care of those heavy words, blondie. You might just have to pay for them." That seemed to anger him so I smirked even more, despite him calling me blondie. Trust me, I've got that a lot. "It's okay, I anyways don't deal with cheap stuff like you." I throw him the most sarcastic smile I could ever muster. Told you it's a love-hate relationship. A humorous non-cliché story with absolute madness, relatable characters, lots of laughter and lots of conflicting emotions from Summer and Caleb. Warning: contains some abusive content. Written by a 16-year-old who has no idea on how to write all this. Promise it gets better after a few chapters :) *** Ranked #1 in badboy on 13/11/2019 #1 in summer #7 in #teenfiction #2 in #hateatfirstsight #1 in Caleb

17 year old, Elena Hawkins thought she was going to be done with boys forever. What Nate Thompson did to her in the fifth grade was unacceptable. She didn't want to deal with heartbreak ever again. Without Nate in the picture anymore, her normal teenage life was going really well. She had straight A's, two incredible best friends, and wonderful parents. Her happy normal teenage life was all going to change. Forced to get along with the popular people, in their all too famous hang out spot. She meets Tyler Black along the way, and her whole world flips upside down. With his innuendo jokes, good looks, gorgeous black hair, and bad boy smirk, Elena can't seem to stay away. She learns that there's more to Tyler than everyone thinks. A side that she's only seen of him is shown. The school's bad boy isn't all that bad after all. Will Tyler fall for her? Will feelings be reciprocated? Or will he break her heart just like Nate did? ~*~ "That's the first time he's called me by my first name. He usually calls me Cutie. I don't think I've ever liked the sound of my name so much, until now. He made it sound better. He makes it better." ~Elena Hawkins "Do I make her nervous? I don't want that. I want her to be herself around me. Show me who she really is, not what everyone else sees. I wanna see the real Elena Hawkins. And that is my mission." ~Tyler Black #95 in Teen Fiction - 03/09/17 Copyright ©2016 by buttercup_roses All Rights Reserved.
