Cara is an average gal, looking for purpose in the world she lives in. She spent most of her time in the California sun with her sister and best friend, Sophia and Katherine. That is, until Katherine is killed in a devastating terrorist attack. After which, Cara does everything in her power to hunt the people that killed her best friend.
A young man known as Mitch Rapp is assigned to yet another job. Homicides have been exploited all around the city and it's sent them into a panic. With the (unwanted) help of Cara Williams, he hopes to take these people down.
