It all started on that day, the day the sky turned bright red and everything went to hell.  Mutants and zombies started attacking and natural disasters started to occur where they usually wouldn't.  The government needed a way to fight back so they created a serum that would give some people abilities and were then used as weapons to fight for and protect what was left of humanity.  Their main objective is to find out what is causing all this and put a stop to it so the world can return to normal. Can Vivian and the rest of her team pull it off?

So this is my first writing i am ever sharing with anyone cause I eventually maybe want to make this into an actual book so if you have anything to share with how I could get better or word differently or fix please share, I'm always open for constructed criticism. So this is been in the works for ages it first started off as a mini story with my friends way back when and it was at most like 5 pages so this definitely needs some explaining and expanding. And recently one of those friends told me they wanted to start this up again so now we and a few others are gonna bring this to life fully new story and all. So this will be a collaborative project with a whole bunch of friends. The main idea when it was first made was a zombie apocalypse with the people in that world having elemental based abilities. It still is mainly that we just decided to change up the world lore and whatnot. So hopefully y'all enjoy. Life seemed well in this world, people waking up going to school or to work or simply just getting up to go on a walk. Life was good, great even until an explosion that destroyed one of Americas most famous cities went off instantly starting a panic across the world. At first everyone thought it was gonna lead to a war with another country little did everyone know it would turn into something much, much worse. A zombie outbreak is upon the world will the survivors be ready or will they fall victim to the apocalypse.

In an alternate timeline, the human race found a way to create superpowers. By extracting energy from stars and inserting that energy into humans, 'powers' were created. Powers allowed humans to gain unnatural abilities such as flight, invisibility, super strength or in other words, superpowers. Of course, with the introduction of something so revolutionary, people rose up in the hundreds of thousands in an event known as the Great Rebellion. The insurgents banded together under a single banner and became collectively known as the Shadow, marking the beginning of the Cosmic Wars. Out of the darkness, the Gazers were born. Using what remained of the power technology, the Gazers singlehandedly perished the evil and ended the conflict. However, there was a price to pay. Powers put a toll on the human body and had serious mental and physical repercussions. The solution was to recruit children from the age of 13 to 18 and train them so their bodies would adapt to their powers, eventually becoming immune to all negative side effects. The end of the Cosmic Wars brought forth a new age of peace and prosperity that the world had never seen before. However, the long reign of the Gazers has already begun to crumble, cracks showing up within the very thread of society. Their rule will not last for much longer. The Shadow will rise once again. Also this summary is something to be fixed but until then) A thousand years ago the extermination of Earth from unknown circumstances brought about the end of humanity for the planet. The end of animals, most of nature, technology and everything that advanced in between. After Earth's destruction a new life began with the survivors of the near extinction of humanity. They constructed a singular civilization encased in a wall for protection from outside forces, built on the hope to reproduce and thrive with the life they were forced into. Zykard would be the start of a second life for humans But within that time of rebirth some of the survivors surged with horrors of Pre-Reearth. Heresy, treachery, riots, thefts, murders and revolutions. A need to for order was introduced, and brought about the leader of Zykard and seven factions of ten people. A thousand years later theres a change. An outsider appears and seemingly becomes the new leader of Zykard, bringing more hardships with their hopes. Crimson, a seventeen year old girl faces the verge of adulthood. The final trials being the only gap between her new reality. A new injection to be given to everyone after the trials. Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.
