Sheelah has a lot on her plate since her first shift. For starters, she almost is killed by a strange unhuman boy with a deathly shot. She's also shifted into a panther and now is the leader at her high school and some students aren't too thrilled with her new popularity.When some shifters are discovered murdered in the woods, Sheelah is the only one with the ability to connect the dots. But will she able to live with the responsibilities this new knowlege causes? Or will she crumble under the pressure?

To those on the outside, May Winters appears to be nothing more than a completely normal seventeen year old. She has a loving mother, an overprotective father and not forgetting her annoying, big brother.
