Katniss and Peeta have a family. Haymitch has stopped drinking. Effie decided on a hairstyle. Gale has disappeared into the woods after Katniss turned his proposal away. All is good in District 13. Except the fact that Primrose Everdeen was dead. Katniss spends everyday grieving her little sister who was killed by the man she loved. Gale. Katniss wants him gone. For good. When he disappears, Katniss feels better. Years later Katniss' youngest daughter dies. And who was her murderer? Gale. He's back and ready to kill. He won't stop until everyone in the Everdeen family is dead. With Peeta gone, Katniss is hopeless. Especially when Coin returns to help Gale. Then things come together. Its not Gale who killed her family, but a cyborg, a minion that Coin created from a dying Gale. Gale is gone. But hope is not. Can Katniss save herself from the clutches of Coin and bring Gale back before its too late? (unfinished for now)

While the characters and some plot points are based off of Suzanne Collins's Hunger Games Trilogy, (which I in no way own the rights to) I have created this story using my own imagination. Diana is like Katniss and has her skills with a bow and arrow and hunting. She has her father's talent with a sword, painting, and baking. Finnick on the other hand is like his aunt Prim and grandmother. He likes to take care of people. The story starts with Diana as a seventeen-year-old on the day of the reaping of the 99th hunger games. The Mellarks have a track record for being in love with their district partner. Will it happen again with one of their kids. Also Katniss, Peeta and Haymitch don't have to be mentors. I don't own the characters of the original hunger games.
