Viggo was born with nothing and has fought his way through life. Having gained status and money as a bounty hunter, the King has made him a vassal and given him a fief. It was something Viggo thought would give him a chance to find rest, but little did he know about the politics he would get dragged into. Even less did he know about the marriage he would be forced into; a marriage he has no interest in as he's been in a relationship with another man for a long time. As Saga and Viggo try to navigate their new life together escalating attacks on the Kingdom by monsters threatens the safety of their home and the people they hold dear. ------ Note, this story is very much a first draft and I have no idea where I'm going with this. ------ As for trigger warnings: Abuse, trauma responses (including panic attacks), sexually explicit scenes.
