Hundreds of years past with peace to all four nations, until Fire Lord Sozin of the Fire Nation, wanted more power, so he started a war to take over the other three great nations. Meanwhile, at the Northern Air Temple, the elder monks became aware of his plans and decided it was time to train the next Avatar his name was Aang. The elder monks told Aang that because he was the Avatar he couldn't have a family Aang got upset and ran away with his animal guide Appa. Little did he know that there were riding into a storm. Huge waves kept pushing them underwater again and again until Aang made a shield around them and ended up frozen in time. A couple of months later the Fire Nation killed all of the Air Nomads. After all the Air Nomads were killed, the Fire Lord ordered for all Waterbenders to be watched for any sign of the new Avatar because he believed that his men killed the Avatar and had been reborn into the Water Tribe. Almost a hundred years have past and that's where my story begins my name is Katara and this is my story.
