It's going to be one sweltering summer in the Windy City. Already, the bodies are piling up. A mysterious Satanic cult is kidnapping and murdering young women and girls in the most grisly fashion imaginable. Danny Doyle is used to seeing the worst society has to offer but even his threshold for gore and mayhem is being tested. When Annabelle Wong - the city's most high-profile fashion photographer - is targeted by the cult - Doyle is assigned to protect her. Before long, romance blooms.
