The Uprising changed everything. Since 2023, the streets of America were empty after dark, reserved for beings deemed too horrible for daylight.
Vamps had been ruling the cities for seven years, until in 2031 a gang of hunters began to make their names known across the country. In their home state of New Jersey, the vamp count has declined steadily, and the death toll has gone with it.
