"It always has to be a bad boy, right?"
"Nah, I'm gonna find myself a not so good one."
"Doesn't that mean the same, genius?"
"Nah, there is a very thin line."

Meet Cara Adams, our regular klutz who is a ball of sunshine. She lives with her overprotective yet introvert brother, Johnathan and her mother who is a sass queen. Dean, Diana and Tyler love to annoy her so much, that they end up getting smacked on their head every five minutes but nevertheless stay by her side and always support her. She has a normal life, filled with homework and assignments. She wasn't too popular nor was she an outcast. She was just another regular senior.

Enter Luke Lancaster, our good but not so good boy, whose chocolate brown eyes are hidden behind a pair of thick rimmed black spectacles. Luke, who just moved to New Orleans, has to finish his senior year in Xavier's High. He always had his walls built high and doesn't want to let them down for anyone. He has planned to finish his senior year quietly, until...

Being the klutz she was, Cara tripped over her shoelace and landed flat on Luke, resulting in breaking his glasses. Being the ball of sunshine she was, she apologized and offered to buy him new ones. But he didn't say a word and walked away leaving her in the hallway.

But things change when they both are paired up for an English assignment and Luke moves as in her next door neighbor.

A spark was all they needed.

It's the last year of high school, and everything has changed . . . ***** After a summer spent in the Philippines, Lara Dela Cruz is eager to start her senior year and, most importantly, reunite with her three besties. But what she did not expect was to show up on the first day of school to all three of her friends now in relationships. Fighting for their attention, catching some new and confusing feelings for long-time frenemy James, and wading through the pressures of post-high-school plans all have Lara reeling. And to make matters worse, Lara's beautiful and untrustworthy cousin conveniently appears and wiggles her way right between her and James' budding relationship. Feeling like a third wheel in more ways than one, Lara must learn to accept that change is inevitable, love is complicated, and being the odd one out is sometimes where inner power is found.
