Ivory wasn't expecting much from life. She's not your average rouge, with her humanity in check and magic in her blood, she was very different than all the rest. Yet she was still unwanted, except for being a not-so-human weapon.
She hadn't been born this way, she was made into a monster as a baby. At fifteen her creators died, and she ran away. It had been for the best, the cruelty and abuse had made her to damaged for the pack life.
But when she runs on the wrong territory, she is immediately attacked and the soon-to-be alpha is to deal with her punishment. Unexpected in the least, she freezes at the smell of her mate, in shock she refuses him and then he walked away. In herself she finds the strength to track him down, so he could reject her and move on.
