Éclat is my school's lit mag. I figured it would be cool to take the stories and poems I write for it (or am hoping to submit in the future) and keep them here. They could be about anything I choose to write about, so you never know what you'll read next. Enjoy this collection :)

Writing Changed My Life
This is a collection of short stories written during my freshman year in a creative writing class. These are pieces with an assigned technique, but not necessarily an assigned topic. Some are incredibly depressing, and one is a gothic story, and another is a metaphor for war. Others, I barely recall what I was thinking at the time when I wrote them. Hence why the maturity rating. Okay, so for my senior year, I took a creative writing class as an elective. Mostly because I didn't have a sixth or seventh period and I wanted to give it a try. Not only did it have Creative Writing with making different stories, for the second half of the school year the class goes into making poems and crap like that. Making a book on Wattpad about this was my idea alone because I want to share what I came up with. This will include what I wrote down according to the writing prompt given, along with the poems that I made. This book will not last long as this is just to show off what I came up with in that one class, but still, stories are meant to be shared plus its a different kind of creativity. Shut Up I'm Thinking
With writing a story you can create the emotion and genuine reaction of people in a situation so everyone can understand. I feel that if I can tell a story real enough, then others going through the same struggles would see what the true outcome looks like.
