The Way We Used to Be
I lost my mom at 11, that's when it started. My dad became a drunk and I was left to take care of my 3-month-old baby sister. Now I'm 23, graduated a few years ago and my sister, now 12, can understand what happened. She never fully understood when I needed someone to and I didn't have many friends that stuck around afterwards. Until I met him. We were friends first, then the feelings got deeper. He asked me to be his girlfriend. He was my first kiss, first date, first real friend, first love, everything. I loved him and I do. I've said it. Now all we do is fight. I don't know why we can't figure things out, but I can't take this fighting. I just want things to go back to the way things were. The way we used to be... Happy, carefree teens that pretended we had the whole world figured out.Complete
the unwanted twin
Emilia and Lexi were twins but they couldn't be more oppersite if they tried. Emilia was selective mute, she was taught not to speak unless spoken to as time went on she stopped talking to people all together. Her mother and step father abused her since she was 5 causing her to grow cold and distant. Lexi was the favourite child, her mother and step father gave her everything she ever wanted, she was bubbly and made friends quick however she was used to the attention and never wanted anyone but her to have the attention. both girls had a strong dislike for each other, Emilia hated that Lexi let their parents abuse her whilst she stood by laughing , she hated how bitchy Lexi could be and how she bullied her. Lexi couldn't stand that she had a twin, especially how weird she thought Emilia to be. 16 years ago was one of the happiest days of the Rosso family lives, their princesses were born but only two years later Alice Russo ran off with the twins, leaving behind her husband Alessandro and their 4 boys. Alessandro was heartbroken and being the Mafia boss, he spared no resources looking for his twin girls but Alice was good, she had help and managed to hide from mafia boss himself. As time went on, Alessandro and his sons gave up hope, until he received a call he never thought he would have. Sisters
In a dysfunctional or broken family, there are traditionally four roles that the children tend to take on to cope. The Walker girls are no exception to that. Amy Walker is the oldest and has taken on the role of the hero or the golden child. She works hard to try and be good at everything she loves: drawing, painting, singing, dancing, and more. She's responsible, often caring for her younger sisters whenever her dad is at work or gone for a business trip. Spoiler alert, he's almost always working or on a business trip. That means that a lot of pressure is on her shoulders to try and keep her family together and mostly happy. The second role is known as the scapegoat, and Jackie Walker fits that role perfectly. She often acts out, at school and at home, and takes out everything she feels on those around her as she continues to take the blame for everything that goes wrong. Sometimes she acts out to try and take any focus off of the problems within their household, thus making herself the problem instead. It isn't always intentional, but sometimes it is. Rachel Walker often finds herself fitting in the box of the lost child, or the invisible child. She follows the rules and tries to fly under the radar, not wanting to upset anyone. She excels academically and helps her sisters with their school work, so that she and they won't need to ask for anything. However, this often leads to her being ignored by her father and lonely at school and home. The last role is the mascot, or the class clown, and Jo fits that role. She is the youngest child, which is typical of this role. She is well liked and relatively outgoing, making her popular at her school. She's a bit of a prankster, often targeting adults as a way to get back at them and to make her peers laugh. Her humor, her pranks, and her sarcasm, are often a defense mechanism. Follow along for their story of family, both found and blood, and sibling rivalry.
